Get ready for a P.A. Day packed with teamwork, creativity and movie-making magic! This one-day Cartoon Camp is all about learning the fundamentals of stop-motion animation while working together to create a fully original short film.
Kids ages 8–13 will collaborate with an animation industry professional to design and build characters & props, develop a story and learn the skills behind bringing a film to life frame by frame.
Here’s what our day looks like:
Morning: After a fun warm-up and introduction to key animation, design and filmmaking concepts, campers will work together as a team to brainstorm their story, develop characters and plan their shots for the group stop-motion film.
Lunch: PIZZA PARTY (included)!
Afternoon: Campers will finish their character builds and sets, then begin filming their collaborative stop-motion project. Each student will receive a copy of the completed film the following week.
Your child will leave with new skills, new friends and the pride of contributing to a film they helped create from scratch!
