Volunteers provide support and are an extra set of eyes at our Cartoon Camps, which take place through the summer, on P.A. Days & March Break.
Each shift is from 9:50am - 4pm.
Cartoon Camp has a maximum capacity of 12 students who are primarily ages 8-13.
Volunteers must be good with people and have the ability to independently supervise the room and maintain group focus and behaviour for brief periods (e.g., when the Leader needs to escort a student to the washroom or meet the pizza delivery).
Volunteers also participate in art/animation exercises and learning with the students. (No art skills required!)
Volunteers are responsible for taking many, many quality, unprompted photos and videos each shift. Capturing moments, fun and artwork to be posted in places such as our Student Gallery for families to view, social media, etc. (candid, posed and artwork closeups).
NO art skills required!
NO setup, clean-up or formal teaching duties for you (that’s our job!)
