Let your creative child take their animation skills to the pro level this summer!
This 5-day Cartoon Camp is a high-energy, immersive journey where we move beyond flipbook basics and into the disciplined world of Traditional Animation. Your young creator will spend the week with an award-winning animation industry professional, learning the exact "pose-to-pose" techniques used by the legends at Disney and Warner Bros. to bring characters to life.
Instead of guessing the next move (like in flipbooks), they’ll learn to plan their key poses first, then use the art of inbetweening to create smooth, cinematic, and professional motion. They’ll learn how to manage animation timing and spacing to ensure their character’s action feels weighted and real.
⚠️ LEVELING UP: This week is at a more intermediate level than some of our other Cartoon Camps because it’s less about learning to draw and requires more focus on performance planning and timing. It’s a fantastic next step for young creators who want to see their work look more polished and professional while gaining a deeper understanding. Your young animator will build the coordination to roll pages between their fingers in order to see the movement they are creating—a tactile, satisfying skill used in professional studios!
Once the week wraps, we’ll film a work of their choosing and send you a digital video of their big debut to share and enjoy!

✅ 10am–4pm (with an optional extended hours program)
✅ All materials and a Friday PIZZA PARTY lunch are included
