Whether you're brand new to art and just testing the waters of your creativity, a beginner exploring your artistic side or a seasoned creative seeking fresh insight, this relaxed, judgment-free session offers a hands-on taste of Upchuckle Creative Workshops (UCW) for anyone 14 years and older.
Led by a 20+ year industry veteran, this engaging session focuses on drawing expressive faces through animation-style character design techniques. You'll explore shape language, gesture and storytelling to bring personality to your drawings—no matter your experience or style.
Creative Kickstart is the perfect way to experience UCW, connect with like-minded creatives and leave feeling energized, supported and inspired to keep creating!

As the Founder and Director of Upchuckle Education, Brad brings over 20 years of experience as a professional artist, animator and director of award-winning animated television shows. In addition to creating entertainment for audiences around the globe, he has served as an Animation Diploma Program Director, Program Coordinator and Instructor at an accredited art and animation college.
Having worn many hats throughout his career, Brad is now focused on helping students develop their own skills and creative voice. His passion for teaching—paired with extensive industry expertise—drives him to inspire and support learners at Upchuckle Education: a place where people of all ages and experience levels can feel safe, supported and encouraged as they explore creativity, gain confidence and grow their abilities.
