Strengthen your skills & understanding, whether for fun, book illustration, animation or game creation!
Do you have characters in your head you’ve always wanted to draw? Do you get stuck and frustrated, not knowing what to draw or finding it difficult to know what’s “off” with your designs?
This 5-day creative deep dive will show you how to bring your characters to life with clarity, confidence and style.
Through fun and focused exercises, you’ll explore the foundations of strong character design—learning how to sketch faces with personality, pose characters with energy and movement, and design from the inside out with structure and shape language. Whether you're exploring character design just for fun or starting to think about a future in animation, comics or game design, this workshop will sharpen your skills and expand your creative toolkit.
By the end of the week, you’ll have a complete original character design, plus the tools and techniques to keep levelling up long after the workshop ends.
*Please note: Colour is not a focus of this workshop series.
